Asim has 25 plus years of experience in Information Technology, offering a comprehensive 360-degree perspective of IT as a business accelerator and enabler. His career spans IT Consulting as a P&L Leader, and IT executive in Financial Services & Insurance verticals and prior stint in software and data engineering.
Asim has led and delivered multi-year IT Services deals for global enterprises across various industries. His clients included companies such as GE, UPS, J&J, NBC Universal, Fidelity, Invesco, and Etsy. Most recently, Asim led the Office of the CIO at Allied World – a leader in Commercial Insurance and part of $20B+ Fairfax Financial Holdings - managing IT Strategy, IT Portfolio & Service Delivery and Strategic Vendor Management. Prior to that, he served as GM and P&L Head for Nexient's Northeast region, contributing to the company's growth and subsequent acquisition by NTT DATA.
Asim began his career at Patni Computers (now part of Capgemini) as a Software/Data Engineer and progressed to become a Client Partner, overseeing a $75M General Electric portfolio with 1,700+ FTEs across India, China, Mexico and US. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Finance Management. Outside of work, Asim enjoys Cricket, Tennis, and Carrom, participating in competitive leagues in the NJ/NY/CT tristate area.
