Amit Guha is a seasoned sales and business leader with over 25+ years of experience driving revenue growth, building strategic client relationships, and leading complex, multi-million-dollar pursuits. He has a strong track record of scaling organizations, transforming startups into market leaders, and delivering large-scale deals across global markets.
In 2010, Amit joined Nexient as one of the company’s early team members and played a pivotal role in scaling the business from $0 to $120 million in revenue, culminating in its acquisition by NTT DATA in 2021. His leadership was instrumental in building high-performing teams, expanding key strategic accounts, and driving consistent year-over-year growth.
Prior to Nexient, Amit worked with HCL Perot Systems, where he led multiple large outsourcing engagements across the Healthcare and Telecommunications sectors. He managed strategic enterprise relationships with clients including MCI, Tenet Healthcare, Catholic Healthcare, and Stanford Hospital, among others.
Amit began his career with Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and later moved to the Middle East with Mindware, where he managed regional operations and drove software and hardware sales across UAE; Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar. Throughout his career, Amit has consistently been recognized as a top performer, earning multiple awards for sales excellence and leadership. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Amit is an avid sports enthusiast. He has played cricket and badminton competitively at the state level for most of his life and remains deeply passionate about sports. He is also a dedicated fan of the San Francisco 49ers and the Golden State Warriors, rarely missing a game.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
